Christopher Larimer

Chris Larimer is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Northern Iowa. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006.

His scholarly interests include the use of field experiments to study voting behavior and attitudes toward government decision makers, as well as a focus on state politics and public policy.

He is the co-author of The Public Policy Theory Primer, The Public Administration Theory Primer (2nd edition), and has authored or co-authored articles that have appeared in American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, Political Analysis, Public Administration Review, and State Politics and Policy Quarterly.

Chris currently serves as President-Elect of the Iowa Association of Political Scientists and is a past President of the Great Plains Political Science Association.

Robert Haus

Bob Haus is a veteran of Iowa and national politics. He has over 25 years’ experience working at all levels of campaigns and national issue advocacy.

He is presently the Vice President of Public Affairs for PolicyWorks LLC, a Des Moines based public affairs company.

He has worked for and advised Republican candidates for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, statewide office, and the Iowa Legislature.

John Hedgecoth

Mr. Hedgecoth is an attorney and consultant based in Des Moines.  He grew up in Cedar Rapids and practiced law here until 2005, and was the 2002 Democratic nominee for a Northeast-side Iowa House seat.

He’s recently served as a senior adviser and speechwriter to Gov. Culver, as Deputy Secretary of State and policy director on two statewide campaigns.
