Mitt Romney will have a business round-table to talk about the economy Aug. 10 before heading to Ames for Thursday evening’s Fox News candidate debate.

Romney, who isn’t competing in Iowa and has not been in the state since late May when he attended a picnic outside of Cedar Rapids, will have a business round-table at noon Wednesday at Vermeer Corporation in Pella.

Thursday, he will visit the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines before heading to Ames for the 8 p.m. debate.
