U.S. Sen. Rand Paul will speak in at 8 p.m. April 1 at MacBride Hall at the University of Iowa.
He’ll be visiting on behalf of the University of Iowa Young Americans for Liberty and Campaign for Liberty.
Paul is a first-term Republican from Kentucky and the author of The Tea Party Goes to Washington. He is the keynote speaker Saturday night at the Republican Party of Iowa Night of the Rising Stars fundraiser in Des Moines.
Doors will open at 7:45 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
